Hello, I'm Jess, and my journey to financial empowerment began when I immigrated to the US at the age of fifteen. Spending most of my formative years in the West, I eventually realized that money management wasn't a skillset my immigrant parents had mastered. Growing up, I grappled with various competing priorities and unhealthy money mindsets. It took many years to get to where I am now: from a dismal credit score of 580 just two years ago, to 780s today, let me share to you my journey of building my financial confidence within the not-so-perfect confines of immigrant and first generation American dream.
